Globally Speaking is committed to protecting your privacy. I value our customers and clients’ privacy as I value my own. This statement details the steps I take to protect your personal information when you visit my website. In particular, it describes the personal information that I collect, the purposes for which I use such information, and your choices regarding my use of it. Collection of information
Generally, you can visit and browse my website without entering any kind of personal information. Your personal data is collected directly from you when you register to get information from me. The personal information I ask is reduced to the minimum information required for me to provide a service or carry out a transaction you have requested. The personal information I collect includes:
- Contact details: name, valid email address, telephone and physical address for shipping purposes.
- Comments about my products or services.
- If you are a professional client: information about your company and job position.
If you only want to subscribe to our newsletter, you can do so without registering and providing any other personal information but your first name and email.
In all cases, I gather automatically, standard information about your visit to our web site, which does not identify you personally and is used in an aggregate way to analyze traffic and provide reports on my visitors. This information is basically sent by your browser to every website you visit, such us your IP address, browser type and capabilities, operating system and language, date and time you access the site and how long you have stayed and the website from which you linked to our site. I do not link this information to your identity in any case.
Information usage
I do not rent, sell or otherwise provide your personal information to any third party for any purpose. I only use your personal information to identify you, to correspond with you, to keep accounts current if you buy my products, and for statistical purposes. Your personal data entered in my forms are not displayed anywhere on the website.

I may disclose personal information if required to do so by law or in the good-faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with legal requirements or with legal process served on me, to protect and defend my rights or property, or in urgent circumstances to protect the personal safety of an individual.

Globally Speaking is committed to protecting the security of your personal information. My IT security providers have put the necessary physical and logical security measures in place, in order to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use or disclosure.

Right of information
Pursuant to the provisions of the Access to Information Act of Canada (R.S.C., 1985, c. A-1). Protection of Personal Data, I inform you that the personal information you provide will be processed and incorporated into an encrypted file owned by Globally Speaking, for the purpose of providing my services as well as managing the business relation with my customers and clients.
E-commerce transactions
I do not collect credit card details for your payments. When you confirm your order by email, I will process your order and send you an invoice through a secure website where you can pay directly from your PayPal account, or if you choose to use a credit card, those details are collected for that transaction only.
Links to other sites
My website may contain links to other sites related or not to the contents of our site. While we try to link to sites that share our high standards and respect for privacy, I are not responsible for the contents, security, or privacy practices in use by other sites. I encourage users to review the privacy policy of each linked site before sharing personal information.
